We’re thrilled to share that Aesthetix founder and designer Jim White has been inducted into The Absolute Sound High End Audio Hall of Fame.
For Jim, this represents a career spent designing gear that inspires and brings those listening closer to their favorite music. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Absolute Sound, as well as to all of you who’ve been with us for this journey.
"White’s passion for music and sound quality drove him to develop cutting-edge vacuum tube-based amplifiers and components that emphasize purity, clarity, and musical realism. His deep knowledge of electronic circuitry and his commitment to craftsmanship have been central to Aesthetix’s reputation for producing some of the finest audio gear available."
We’re always excited to see The Absolute Sound's Editors’ Choice Awards announced each fall, and this year is no exception. We are honored to have so many of our products included in this list.
We are especially thrilled that our two newest products the Pallene hybrid preamplifier and Dione hybrid amplifier received this prestigious award!
"...the Aesthetix gear does a mighty fine job of stepping aside and letting this great recording strut its considerably impressive stuff. The stage is very large, while seemingly just right proportionally—front to back, top to bottom—a damn fine rendering of a large orchestra."
–Wayne Garcia, The Absolute Sound
Robert Harley notes DIONE power amplifier and PALLENE preamp are among the Most Significant Products of AXPONA 2023
Aesthetix Mimas Integrated Amplifier given 2019 Product of the Year and Golden Ear distinctions from The Absolute Sound.
"A TRIUMPH"
"Thank goodness I wasn't listening while writing or I'd have shorted my computer keyboard... The execution of this fabulous-sounding amplifier means that the Mimas is a triumph."
–Ken Kessler, Hi-Fi News
"OVER THE MOON"
"For me, the Aesthetix Mimas is the very definition of what I am seeking today in an integrated amplifier—unalloyed transparency and musicality served up with rich reserves of power."
–Neil Gader, The Absolute Sound
